Pool Stabilizer is an easy-to-use product for stabilizing chlorine in swimming pools. It protects and stabilizes chlorine from the U.V. rays of the stun and extends effective disinfection time. Our pool stabilizer contains cyanuric acid which combines with the chlorine in your swimming pool, making the chlorine less likely to react to sunlight therefor greatly reducing chlorine loss by the sun's UV Rays. To maximize the efficiency of chlorine in an outdoor pool, always maintain a stabilizer residual of at least 20ppm.

How to use

Test water

Use a test kit to determine the stabilizer concentration in the swimming pool water as the desired level is 20-30ppm.

Turn on circulating system

The initial dosage for a stabilizer-free pool is 300g/10,000L of pool water.

Add stabilizer

Add stabilizer slowly to obtain 20 to 30 ppm. Note that 75 g / 10,000 L will increase the level 8ppm.

Keep system on

Keep your circulating system on for at least 12-24h after addition of Aqua Coastal stabilizer.

Most pools do not require Secure stabilizer more than once per season, unless you: Add significant amounts of fresh water due to splash-out or backwashing Drain and refill the pool Use unstabilized sanitizer like liquid bleach (which doesn’t add cyanuric acid) Since cyanuric acid stays in water indefinitely and only decreases through dilution, it’s usually a one-time or occasional maintenance addition.
